I have a user who wants to know how to go to the last assigned catalog # in their catalog.
Apart from bringing up all catalog records and sort them by catalog #, which obviously, which would take a very long time, does anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately for us our Display Settings are switched off for normal users, so we require IT department help to change the screen resolution.
I dare not speak on behalf of the developer, but if the platform on which EMu is built is not...

Nancy-
We read the release notes but are curious about how other institutions are actually using it and how useful it is because we are trying to decide if we should request it in our 2012 budget. Can you give me some background into how it...

Hi all.
Has anyone got a solution for using en- and em-dashes in EMu in a way that will correctly export to the web?
We can put them in to EMu using windows character codes ALT 0150 (en-dash_ and ALT 0151 (em-dash). Works fine. When...

Thanks Helena! When I referenced creating the multimedia record I was providing MulMimeType, MulIdentifier, MulMimeFormat and MulDescription and MulHasMultimedia but including MulDocumentType solves the problem.
Thanks again

Do let us all know. I hadn't heard of Google Refine and can see that, in principle, it could be extremely useful for the various pockets of messy data that still lurk in our database. Presumably it would be possible to Export from EMu...

Hi April,
As far as I know they have done the record creation themselves. Although it is possible to perform an upload of a certain Getty providing one is available.
Hope this helps :)

It sounds to me like you're after the Global Replace tool. Full details about how to use this functionality are provided in the EMu Help (click the Help button in the Command Centre).
In the EMu Help you'll find details here:...

I had an interesting experience using Record Recall yesterday. We had to restore Catalog data from backup of 1/30/10. Because we only restored Catalog data, all other data files remain intact. Now, the Audit table showed changes in the Catalog...
